Man of 89 had to be taken to A & E on a plank of wood, he had broken his hip.

I must learn how to do links! I switched laptop on this morning sat down with cuppa, I usualy check Yahoo news.

First thing that popped up was the story of this 89 year old man who had fallen and broke his hip and other injuries. No ambulances available(which we know is not their fault).

The man was transported in a van on a plank of wood. There were other issues concerning the call handler and the information given, advising them to put the man in a taxi!

The story gives all the info if you google. (I am sure there will be many mnay more stories) I am truly shocked as to how things are going from bad to worse.
