According to an Oxford prof, 10% of us are larks (me), 25% are owls (MrB), and the rest are pigeons.

You?

Most definitely a Lark

Youcantchoosethem Fri 06-Jan-23 13:10:18

A perpetually exhausted pigeon!

Lark! Good grief.

Grandmabatty Fri 06-Jan-23 12:58:57

Definitely a pigeon these days. I used to be a park but now only get up early when I have to. My peak is about lunchtime. Then it's downhill all the way 🤣

I'm a very unhappy owl. Due to a medical condition I often don't get to bed until 3-5am, and usually get up at 11-12am...When forced to go to bed at a reasonable time and get up at8-9am I feel incredibly ill for several days sad

I’m a lark and an owl. Up at 6am and bed around midnight. I work and weekends probably nearer 8am rise

That should be Lark not park😂

Used to be a park but definitely more pigeon these days,

Left to myself I would be a happy Owl, but...

... school-days, working life and marriage to a husband who wakes at five a.m. at the latest has turned me into a reluctant owl pretending to be a lark.

Now, in retirement, I am gradually returning to the happy Owl I was born to be.

Sounds like me...glad I'm not the only one.

timetogo2016 Fri 06-Jan-23 12:08:06

I`m a lark married to an owl.

Definitely an owl for as long as I can remember. As a student I rarely attended morning lectures and did my best tutorial work late at night. As a teacher I was up planning and marking until 1 a.m. and now I just read or watch TV until the early hours. I can't really get going until 11 a.m. but sometimes needs must.

I am a hedgehog. I want to sleep for the whole winter.

TerryM Fri 06-Jan-23 11:41:05

Owl I tend to read late

Redhead56 Fri 06-Jan-23 11:31:09

Don’t know what I am go to bed late but wake up very early. Mr R wakes me up because he is in and out the bathroom all the time😡

nipsmum Fri 06-Jan-23 11:24:44

I am definitely not an owl and certainly not a lark, so I guess I must be a pigeon.

Juicylucy Fri 06-Jan-23 11:24:08

Owl here but on the odd occasion wish I could be a lark.

grannyro Fri 06-Jan-23 11:21:40

Definitely an owl. I am very unproductive in the mornings but am more creative and competent later in the day and in the evenings.

winterwhite Fri 06-Jan-23 11:17:21

Lark married to an owl.

Morvenne Wed 04-Jan-23 23:42:11

I am an owl. I enjoy reading late at night after DP has gone to bed.

JaneJudge Wed 04-Jan-23 22:54:24

I am a mixture of all three and it’s a nightmare

GagaJo Wed 04-Jan-23 22:38:04

Pigeon. Although I'm at my best between 7 & 11am. And if I have no commitments (hollow laugh, I wish!), I'll happily be up till 2am and then have a lie in, in the morning.

LauraNorderr Wed 04-Jan-23 22:35:49

An owl married to a very cheerful lark.

Doodledog Wed 04-Jan-23 22:29:59

I am definitely an owl, and have been for as long as I remember.

BigBertha1 Wed 04-Jan-23 22:29:21

A dormouse. Always dropping off if I sit down.
