I posted a while ago on Style and beauty about a skin condition and asking if anyone knew where I could get 100% cotton knickers and received lots of very good advice.
I am still waiting for an 'urgent' appointment with dermatology department.
I was unable to source 100% cotton knickers as of course they do need some elastic to stop them falling down! The skin under my breasts and round my waist is still very red and shiny and I am unable to wear a bra next to my skin.
If I can find a vest or cami 100% cotton and without elastane I would wear it next to my skin and wear my bra and knickers over the top -not a pretty sight, I know!
I have been unable to find anything that's not 'cotton rich' with 5% elastane. I know this is added to keep the shape.
Do any of you lovely ladies have any idea where I could find these.

If you Google, quite a lot of options come up.

I would try Amazon as well as Ebay. Good luck!

Try Pact as well, I’ve not tried them myself yet but they advertise as 100% cotton.

I have tried Google and although there seem to be a lot of options they all seem to have 5% elastane as do Amazon and M & S. I am about to search for Bamboo which I am told is hypoallergenic though expensive.

They really don’t Mazgg. If you Google 100% cotton ladies underwear you will get a lot of results which do not contain anything but cotton. I don’t understand why you’re not finding these.

Oops, just found some on Amazon which say 100% cotton. I will see what the label says when they arrive.

I have the same problem!
I have yet to find a bra which doesn't give me a rash, as you say, they all need elastane in them. As far as knickers go, I found some which are labelled 100% cotton in Primark last week. So far they are not irritating my skin, they have something stretchy around the legs but no mention of elastane.

Not sure if these are the ones:

It does have elastic but worth a try at that price.

My DM was allergic to nickel, used on bra straps.

I've had an itchy rash on my back in the shoulder areas and did wonder if it was due to using hair conditioner then rinsing it off in the shower.

Callistemon21, I'm allergic to hair (and fabric) conditioner - so use diluted vinegar instead. I'm ok with hair oil, though, but don't use it near my scalp.

I do wonder about 'pure cotton' as I'm more comfortable with bamboo sheets, socks etc. - often a blend with cotton.

Interesting, Hetty58, I only thought of the connection recently.
I've stopped using fabric conditioner too.

I do like my bamboo socks but haven't tried the sheets.

Have bought my cotton knickers for years from M&S. they were always quite reasonable. However, of late they appear to only sell cotton with, I think Mondial added. Really annoying.

Have you tried Slenderella? They claim their full brief BF80 is 100% cotton.
