I’ve had this watch for over a year. Occasionally it made my skin a bit red so I would swap it to the other arm. Three days ago I woke up with intense itching and a really bad rash. My question is 1) can you be allergic to silicone and 2) what can I do going forward because I love counting my steps and tracking my sleep.

Buttonjugs yes you can be allergic to silicone. I have a step counter on my phone my daughter put on for me. You can track your weight and you can track your sleep. With the step counter it not only tells you the number of steps but have many km you have walked plus it gives heart points but still haven't worked out how or when they are awarded . You can set how many steps you want to achieve each day. The icon for it is a heart shape.

Under the heart shape it says Fit.

I have that free app on my iPhone and can count my steps but you do have to remember you may not have your phone with you or rather on your person morning, noon and night
Could you put your watch in your pocket or have a little bum bag or something

The straps are replaceable. If you google you will hopefully find a replacement non silicone strap that will let you continue wearing your watch. I’ve seen nylon braid, leather and metal ones advertised.

You can be allergic to silicone, but that looks like a sweat rash to me. I’d guess that your watch was pushed too far up your arm and the sweat couldn’t escape. I’ve had similar with my metal strapped watch on hot days where it’s been too tight on my wrist.
