I damaged my index fingernail some time ago and it started to lift off, it was very uncomfortable and I kept catching it, and it 'flipped up' which was horrible.
My GP surgery paramedic removed it about 7 months ago.
Now it has grown back in exactly the same way plus its got a fungal infection so its gone black. I hate it, but when I went back to the GP they said they are not paid to do that sort of thing anymore and I would have to go private.
I don't know where to start, I have been Googling and its all about feet, the local podiatrist said she wasn't insured to do surgery.
I have to put a plaster on it most of the time to stop me catching it everything!
Anyone else had this problem?
