Similar experience for me, with a constant toothache like pain.. Carpal Tunnel was the cause.

I had carpel tunnel and the operation some years ago and all has been well since
Last year on three occasions I had a massive electric shock go through my hand, the first time it happened my hand was inside my handbag feeling for something it was so violent I jumped back pulled my hand out and emptied the bag to see what had caused it Nothing at all there It happened on two other separate occasions again really harsh That was a good year or more ago and absolutely nothing since
Hand is fine !!!

I seem to remember having some sort of nerve block test done years ago on my hand to work out what was causing something or other so perhaps you need that doing. I can’t actually remember what mine was for; I’ve got Dupuytrans and arthritis in my hands so I assume it was something o do with that.

Sounds like carpal tunnel syndrome. www.nhs.uk/conditions/carpal-tunnel-syndrome/

Today I have started having twinges in my left hand, almost like an electric shock, painful enough to make me jump or yelp. Sometimes the pain goes up my arm. Anyone else had this happen?
