Yes, I had the operation 3 years ago .The worst part was afterwards, with the numbing! But after my physio, it was fine. It'll never be how it was before the arthritis, but there's no pain now!

I had a sub accromial decompression about 15 years ago to take away the arthritic outgrowths which were rubbing on the tendons. It was amazingly successful and I soon recovered. The only problem I have that twisting anything like a corkscrew can give me a cramp in my bicep. The answer is screw top wine bottles 🤣
Good luck Parsnip

I haven't parsnip but I probably will eventually. My left shoulder is in constant pain. Hopefully others will come along with experienced advice for you. Sending hugs.

I have severe arthritis of my left shoulder and now find the other one nearly as bad. I have been referred for an operation for the first one.
Does anyone have any experience of an arthritic operation? I would be most grateful if anyone has.
