Oh I am shattered. It was lovely to see my SiL and her husband. They brought their little GD who is only two. She spent a lot of time rearranging fridge magnets with me. I love when children visit. And playing with Foxy. But my husband and BiL chatted separately to us and really I find two conversations across each other frazzle my brain. So I'm in bed (what's new?). But they are very cheerful which I needed to distract from thinking about my sons partner. I thought of her as a SiL and the family are all shocked and sad. They had been together ten years.
Scaredycat I won't give up yet. What paints do you use?
Sorry enough talk about me!
I'm sorry you have so many friends ill. Its difficult as we get older because health problems are more common and we don't have the amount of energy to help people that we would like. You can only do your best. But it's very sad.
Doodle I too am glad you are optimistic about your op. I hope Mr D is recovering a little today.
A year ago it was a very different story……..birds!
Teaching myself piano from scratch at 65- any advice.
Belfast another appalling attack, we need to ask what is driving this.

.I've stayed in Windermere. It sounds idyllic where you are. Relax and enjoy. xx
