I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and my left knee needs replacing so the pain of walking is terrible and I'm very limited to how far I can walk.
Every 6months I have a steroid injection and it's great I'm walking on air and pain-free.
It last about 3months but well worth it and it gives me a chance to enjoy pain-free holiday ect

Hi everyone
My husband had a bang to the forehead, an accident with the tailgate. Anyway, v superficial and all healed.
Fast forward 3 weeks and pain in shoulder/ neck. Several sessions at chiropractor and X-rays show bone spurs that have been disrupted, thus causing pain. This is mainly as he has bad posture due to flat feet and pelvis being out etc.
Physio, heat treatment and heavy duty pills from gp and no relief. Have used tens machine on him that does give a little relief.
Chiropractor says it will resolve, but he is in a lot of pain and I am wondering if steroid tablets or injection might help.
Has anyone had either in neck or shoulder and did it help
Many thanks
