I don’t get any reaction from food but I get breathless bending over. Yes, I know, don’t bend over 😂

Thankyou everybody. It's good to know I'm not alone and there are remedies.

I had an X-ray because of my endless cough so I suppose it's a good thing that my lungs are clear.

Oh yes, Rennies!!!
I'm awash with them.

I have one - very common and causes acid reflux (heartburn) for many people. I was prescribed Lanzoprazole (similar type of drug to Nexium - Esomeprazole) and it worked well, but then I started getting side effects. Now I manage it with a mixture of one of the ...azoles sometimes, Gaviscon tablets and Rennies! Checked with my GP and he seems fine with my self medication. I was also advised to avoid orange juice.

It's better to treat any symptoms of acid reflux by neutralising or blocking the acid as the inflammation it causes is not good long term.

I think almost everyone finds tomato type, acid foods are a real problem.
I swear sometimes just the word "tomato" is enough to set me off.

I get acid reflux, heartburn, and really painful indigestion.

Oh we have all types of hiatus hernias on here.

A thread a while back revealed rollers, sliders, and other types, too.

I have a sliding one.

It's most problematic when I don't eat healthily- cooked cheese is a killer for me!

Apparently this is what I have. It showed up on a recent x-ray. Part of my stomach poking through my diaphragm.

Does anyone else have one or experience and advice to give me?☆

Doctor has prescribed antacids and suggests I cut down on dairy and
citrus fruit.

I had heard of this but not known anyone with it.

Suggestions appreciated. Thanks.
