Insomnia- Has anyone had success with Sleepstation?

I’ve had insomnia on and off for 40 years but not had a bad bout for probably 10 years or more….until recently.

It started about a month ago when DH was ill, his coughing and wretching was waking me up several times a night, after a few nights I moved to the spare room but the damage was done and I’ve been spiraling down a rabbit hole over the last month.

Not every night is bad but the last few have been and I’ve come across a programme called Sleepstation and wondered if anyone had tried it or had success with it?

I do find I sleep better if I’m in a separate room ( the spare room) but neither of us wants this long term.

Any advice or experiences gratefully recieved.

just to say stay in the separate room is my advice.

Insomniac here - not found a solution except prescription medication. Hope your husband is feeling better.

I’ve just moved into the spare room. Not insomnia but DH’s snoring does make sleep difficult!
I felt I would be more comfortable with extra pillows to support my arthritic hips and a much lighter duvet to cope with overheating.
I agonised about moving out but it’s honestly the best thing for both of us. DH has adjusted the bed to his personal preferences, an enormously heavy weighted blanket. I have a cooling mattress and a full length body pillow.
Honestly, give separate rooms a go, it’s not the end of anything but the opportunity to have the most restful sleep you can get, for both of you. It certainly has removed the guilt I had about disturbing him. I sure you feel the same.
And, as a friend said to me, you can always “visit” each other!

I don't see the problem with separate rooms. For the majority of the time one or both of you are asleep. It's the waking hours that count and a good night's sleep makes the waking hours more enjoyable.
