Oilatum or Aqueous cream are both unscented and non- irritant.

Hàve you ,tried ' Double Base'? You can buy it from pharmacies. If you have àlready tried this, hàve you sought advice from your pharmacist.

have you tried all the basic cheap generic ones, eg cocoa butter, aqueous cream, aloe vera, etc.
vitamin E cream and lotion from superdrug.
they also have an unscented range, cheaper than Simple.

My skin is extremely sensitive and I get rashes caused by irritation. The only brand I don't have a problem with is Nivea. Their shower gels smell wonderful, so you don't have to sacrifice scent for blandness.

I use soap and choose non-scented. I found the Happy soap company best- Tesco used to stock them but I think it depends on your skin.

I prefer soap as it is 100% biodegradable and no plastic waste.

After a terrible flare up of excema twenty years ago,(now gone apart from my left elbow) I took a much keener interest in the contents of soaps and shower gels. I now use castile soap exclusively.and have no reactions at all. A natural product which is perfume free and hypoallergenic.

There’s the added bonus of no waste - there are no plastic bottles and the goods come in recyclable paper/card packaging.

I use Dove 'soap' bar to shower with...they do shower washes too. recommended by dermatologist. It is not an actual soap! has a lovely smell.

if your hands are that bad I would use Hi-Bi Scrub.. from Boots.

Itchy irritated skin can make your life a misery so you have my sympathy :

Make a skin map so you can test various products .
And a food diary to check that you don't an intolerance or allergy to certain foods containing gluten and lactose .
Ignored intolerances can set off skin problems .
Take a vitamin E supplement .
Take cool showers .
I also recommend Oilatum .
Check your soap powder -is it irritating your skin ?
I've found some natural products from Tulipa Negra - a Spanish company invaluable . I've ordered them online from Amazon .
They sell savon de Marseilles . I've washed my hair with it .
Failing that - Pears soap is soothing .
I also like Knights Castile .
You don't need to lather up all your skin surfaces .
I hate to say it , but as we age we lose natural skin oils and we also are prone to develop intolerances .
