Is anyone else as daft as me?

At a carvery lunch I spooned lots of bread sauce over my roast chicken and sides, only to discover that it was horseradish sauce, which I hate.

My most daftest moment in all my 59 years happened this morning! I'd crashed out of bed about 1:30am desperate for a drink, decided to have a mug of PG Tips ... got the kettle boiled, milk and 2 saccharin in, plonked down on the edge of the bed to drink it and spat it out fast.

In my state of sleep walking I'd also added in 2 spoons of untamed cat food ... Tuck-In Tuna with Shrimp....

Our little puss loves untamed but it's not very nice in tea!

I do remember my mother, going quietly crazy since her own mother with dementia was staying, spraying her hair with furniture polish instead of hairspray!

Yes I've done that too. Most annoying.

I almost cleaned my teeth with the dog's toothpaste. Thought it tasted different!

I had applied deep heat cream to my painful knees. Sleeping naked with my bent knees facing Orlin’s more tender parts I awoke to find him groaning under a cool shower. Ouch!

Don't particularly want to win this prize but I'm certainly a runner up!

I'm sure that I have previously mentioned making cous cous and, when I tried to eat it, discovering that I'd used oatmeal.

But my dear MiL holds the prize for constantly using salt instead of sugar!!

I once threw a table spoon full of sugar into the marrowfat peas I had bubbling away on the hob, but the pan I threw it into held mushroom risotto! Sweet risotto isn't nice!
My cousin (lost in thought) tipped up a sugar dispenser instead of a salt cellar and poured sugar all over his fish & chips🤢
Our DS once picked up a bottle of brown sauce from the kitchen worktop and gave it a good shaking, only to realise that DH had only balanced the lid on the bottle while he answered his phone. Fortunately the wall which was completely splattered was fully tiled!

Yay! Someone has finally claimed my title And do keep these coming, they are so funny.
Years ago, I thought I would have a taste of the delicious looking orange sorbet that mum had left in the fridge...........it was mashed swede . Just one of the barmy mistakes I have made over the years.

I recently sprinkled cat biscuits on my porridge instead of pumpkin seeds. Happy to say I did at least notice before I tucked in.

We've all been there. The night before my daughter's wedding, my best friend, who flew over from Canada, decided as "Mother of the Bride" she would give me a lovely facial. It was about 5 minutes after she applied the face mask that I heard her yelp a bit and then dissolve into fits of laughter. The face mask turned out her to her hair wax. . Everyone thought it was hilarious.

My mistake - Worcestershire sauce instead of gravy browning made a livelier than expected cottage pie.
