Anyone had a cystoscopy for kidney cysts

I had a cystoscopy last year, I was absolutely dreading it, but in all honesty I was worrying about nothing, it really wasn't too bad at all.

I had one about 22 years ago as I always had signs of blood in my urine. It was absolutely painless (and I am definitely not brave!) I am pretty certain I didn't have any numbing gel applied first, no sedative or anaesthetic either. I do recall a nurse leaning across me (maybe she was worried I tried to leap off the table???) Afterwards I had to go back onto the ward to wait till the doctor came back to talk to me. I do remember being a bit concerned that having a wee might still g so when I went to the loo I poured a beaker of cool water over as I weed. I am sure you will be fine.
