Hypertension part II

One of my medications was doubled, I am on three, atenolol irbesartan and lercaandapine plus a statin, however my BP remains stubbornly high at around 190/85. My health provider has suggested a referral to the hypertension clinic at the hospital.

Anyone have any experience of this clinic and do they have the magic solution I am looking for? I have already adhered to the ‘lifestyle choices’ they suggest with no change.

I have no knowledge of these clinics, sorry.

Wondering if it has always been high?
My mother-in-law (100now) has high BP. She says it has always been high since she first had it checked in her 30s.

Not suggesting you do nothing of course!
