Sertraline and weight gain

h, I totally get you! I've been on Zoloft for a long time, and it helps me so much with my mental health. In the beginning, I also had that crazy hunger—you’re definitely not alone there. But honestly, it got better with time, so hang in there!

One thing I’ve learned is that quality matters when it comes to Sertraline. I always make sure to get mine from a trusted pharmacy: topsup24.com/buy-zoloft-uk.html, and has never let me down. Always top quality and works exactly as it should.

As for the weight, since you can’t do lots of fruit and veg, maybe focus on protein and healthy fats? They keep you full longer. Also, little things like drinking more water (I know, basic, but it helps) and finding ways to move more, even just walking, can make a difference. Hope that helps! 💙

I found that giving up bread was an easy way to lose weight and it helped stop my flatulence problem as well!

Been taking 50mg since September 24 have increased my weight by 7 lbs I haven’t noticed an increase in appetite -however I have become far more relaxed about life etc and this has affected my food decisions - something I try and deal with by filling up on protein and trying to keep busy doing ‘stuff’

Omg, the weight gain… I am prone to weight problems anyway and sertraline was a disaster for me in that respect, although it was good for my depression and anxiety.
I came off as my appetite was getting out of control.
Am on propanol and seeing how that goes.
I feel your pain.

Good to know I'm not alone*Cossy*. I lost weight when I started on them because I felt sick but it's come back in abundance

I’m just going to have to cut down on carbs and I too have a bowel disorder though I do have fruit and vegs in abundance, so long as I’m not leaving the house.

Me! That’s exactly what’s happened to me! I was already overweight and I’ve eaten for England since my dose was raised to 100mg! I always feel hungry!

I've been taking Sertraline 100mg for 8 months and they have helped my depression but in that time I've gained half a stone. I seem to be hungry all the time. My GP doesn't want me to reduce them yet and neither of us think it would be a good idea to change to another drug.
Does anyone have tips to reduce my weight or at least stop me putting on more? I have a bowel disorder so cannot eat lots of fruit and veg
