Oh goodness, silverlining, Charleygirl, I’m definitely in the same 2% as you two. If I didn’t know better by now, I’d say we were sharing the same surgery, it’s just awful. To be fair, I think it’s the admin, rather than the medical staff. It was so much better when we had a small ramshackle surgery which wasn’t fit for purpose with no parking. A move to a brand new state-of-the-art purpose built medical centre and everything falls to pieces. Fairly OK when we had eConsult but that has stopped & not been replaced, one all purpose telephone line, no other means of contact apart from snail mail - it’s all so one way …
Grammaretto I can’t walk anything like 3.5 miles & my op was just over 11 weeks ago, don’t despair. I am doing more & more around the house without a stick but still can’t stand on operated leg alone for more than about 5 seconds. Wouldn’t dream of walking outside without it. The stairs are still hard going, too.
