Beetroot is great at ‘getting things moving’ if that’s what you need. Just don’t be alarmed by the resulting colour!
Hope you’re better soon.

Ps avoid codeine-based pain relief!

Haemorrhoid Cream eg Anusol
But I'd make a GP appointment.

Haemorrhoids. I find high roughage cereals with oats help keep 'things moving'. I eat sugar free muesli most mornings, sometimes I add fresh fruit or dried cranberries.

I wish you a speedy recovery.thanks

Is that the correct spelling? Just had an operation and have been left with what feels like enormous lumps around my anus. It is expected post op to take laxatives. I’ve done that, prunes, cold water on said area in shower, creams and suppositories. Any other advice anyone can give? In week 5 of recovery of pelvic floor repair.
