Worried sick. I had a colposcopy on 26 January and today received a letter saying that my case and the result of the vaginal biopsies will be discussed at next MDT meeting.
The gynae department are unable to share the result and plan for future treatment until after this MDT meeting which is 4 weekly.
Years ago I had some laser treatment for abnormal smear test and i am also HPV positive too.
Please do I need to worry? Anyone had any experience of this?

No experience of this but thinking of you.
I have some health issues too and am waiting to do a FIT test.- stomach problems

Thinking of you too!
I’m sure all will be okay but can’t help but worry. Sure if super serious they would have me up at the hospital immediately.
Wishing you well.

Yes ReadandCook - I meant to say that as well. If they thought it was that urgent, they wouldn’t have left it for 4 weeks. All the best !

This happened to me a couple of years ago.
You will be assigned to a particular consultant who is part of a team.
After testing the result will be discussed within the team. Collectively best way forward and action to be taken will be agreed by them.
At your next appointment your consultant he/she will discuss with you what was said at the team meeting, you will be able to ask any questions you have and any worries.
Things take time within the NHS unfortunately.
Best of luck
