Neuropathy revisited

Is it large, medium or small fibre neuropathy just out of interest? I've got one of those Revitative machines, it gave me temporary relief but not much. I found the shiatsu massager better but I have fibro with nerve irritation as opposed to actual neuropathy that damaged the nerves.

While it didn't completely eliminate the discomfort, the vibrations and massage helped improve circulation and reduce the tingling sensation temporarily. Everyone’s experience may vary, but it might be worth trying if you're seeking additional relief. Remember to consult with a healthcare professional before starting any new treatments, just to be safe.

Not sure if you are referring to me , but I have been diagnosed with mild neuropathy in the left foot, and medium in the other. I severely strained the right foot a year ago. I’m not sure which came first, the numbness or the fall! Anyway, although I am about to go away, I will take Georgesgran’s advice and go for a trial of the foot machine.

Are you absolutely certain it is neuropathy and not something else. I have pins and needles and some loss of sensation in my feet which is caused by severe spinal stenosis. I am waiting for a major back operation which hopefully will improve this and my pain a lot. Just make sure you are treating the right diagnosis

Thank you very much, that will be a good idea.

DH suffered from peripheral neuropathy as a result of illness/chemo. The sensations in his feet were so severe and painful, that he was in distress just standing on a bobbly bathmat.
However, if you want to try out a genuine Revitive machine, there’s a trial period and you can get a full refund if it’s not suitable. (sis-in-law) did this and the machine was picked up from her home for return).

I have read the previous thread about neuropathy and hope all of the sufferers are managing this complaint, and hopefully getting some relief. I too suffer from neuropathy in my feet, which really affects my balance. I have no idea of the cause, I’m not diabetic, nor have I taken many antibiotics.
Has anybody tried one of the electrical foot massage machines, the type advertised by Ian Botham? How was it? Did it give any comfort or relief? I would be interested to hear your opinions.
