I find that using good lubricating eye drops with hypromellose helps. I apply them about 4 times a day.

My eyes have had a battering, glasses since age 3 and each has been operated on twice. I now have dry eyes and eye strain. I read a lot but now my sight is always blurred by evening and often it lasts all day.
It mainly affects my reading and sewing and is less of a problem when using my iPad. Google and my optician both think it a mild harmless problem but it’s seriously impacting on me.
I suppose it’s another feature of old age but has anyone found anything which helps?
