I had a telephone consultation with a podiatrist yesterday.
I explained that recently I've noticed a few of my toes have bony lumps at the side which are causing me discomfort when wearing shoes. She thinks they could be due to arthritis in my toes which is worrying me as we are keen walkers.
The podiatrist suggested I buy some silicone gel toe protectors online. I have been looking today and can't believe how many types & styles there are to choose from.
Have any GNs used any of these and could any of you recommend a type. There are whole toe covers and tubular ones and I'm not sure how to know what size. Also I don't know how long each lasts so should I buy a pile of them or just a couple?
Id like to order them asap so I'd appreciate any advice.
Thank you in anticipation ๐ค๐
