I think you should see a doctor. Hope you can arrange it soon. A month is a long time to be in such pain.

I am sorry this is happening. But honestly, GN or any other internet Forum is NOT the place for a diagnosis. You need to see a doctor asap.

Please see your doctor.

Don't Google, make an appointment with your GP tomorrow.

The queasiness and the pain could be two separate issues but it is not up to us to make a diagnosis.

Dawn62 - I am a bit like you - online GP is my go-to. Yes, if you’re like me, you read the best case scenario and then feel better. It could be something very simple. But, please see your GP.
I’ve been having numbness in two of my fingers for about 3 months. I put it down to resting on my hands, in order to read the iPad , in bed.
Decided to see GP a few days ago. A lovely Doctor, who looked at my notes , was shocked to see I hadn’t seen a GP for over 2 years. He advised a full MOT - BP, Bloods etc.
Had results today. Turns out I am low in Folic Acid. So, I will pick up the prescription tomorrow. Hopefully, the numbness will get better, after a couple of weeks of Folic Acid tablets.

Sounds like sciatica to me. Try sleeping with a pillow between your legs if on your side or underneath your knees if on your back. Go see a doctor and don’t scare yourself with Dr Google. Strangely enough I found some exercises the other day that I’d been given when I had sciatica years ago ( which shows that it does go away!).

Yes, it does sound like sciatica which can be very painful.
But see a GP, they may refer you to a physiotherapist.

See your GP, he can prescribe medication. If it's sciatica push for an MRI to find out what's causing it.

GP's are not very good when it comes to things like that [imo] but will hopefully recommend physiotherapy and not just painkillers.

Hear, hear.

I think sometimes people avoid going to see their GP because they are afraid he will tell them they have something dreadful, where if they come onto GN and ask us, our suggestions will be more anodyne.

I think the posters know they are being irrational, but aren't we all at times, especially when we are not feeling well.
