I love travelling by train to go on holiday. Then saw Railtrail tours and it said they have journeys for the disabled. There Scottish one appealed to me .

So I asked for a brochure. I was sent 3 questions via email and because I answered no to the questions. Seems they don't cater from the disabled traveller after all.

Did point out there are disability discrimination laws now. Why advertise they do tours for the disabled I don't nor know their definition of disabled .

I will stick with trains that cater for everyone. And give travel assistance. And stay at Primier inns who have accessible rooms for walking and wheelchair disabled and go out of the way to help people .

I don't expect anyone to respond but rather annoyed .

That's very frustrating. Why advertise something you don't actually provide. What a disappointment for you.

That seems very strange. As you say, why advertise these are being suitable for disabled travellers if it turns out that they aren't really that suitable after all?

Can you complain to trading standards ( if trading standards still exist that is)?

In their tour descriptions it says

"All our holidays by train require a reasonable level of physical fitness and unaided mobility."

I can't see anything for the disabled ?? Where did you see it? All their tours seem to include a certain amount of walking and carrying of luggage.
