Diarrhea, also spelled diarrhoea, is characterized by loose, watery stools occurring three or more times a day. It's a common ailment that often resolves on its own within a few days. However, persistent or severe diarrhea can be a sign of a more serious underlying issue and may require medical attention.
My dog gets it all the time and I’m always googling it or asking about it on dog Facebook pages. I never remember how to spell it even when I’ve been googling it for days! It’s the sort of word that seems like an anagram of itself. However going back to the OP I think I’d be tempted to get medical advice ( if it’s possible to speak to someone these days) if it’s severe and the result of antibiotic treatment. 111 perhaps?Would it be worth taking d Mannose as a preventative in future? I use Imodium all the time because of IBS; can’t go anywhere without it. Slippery elm is also good for diarrhea; I’m currently giving it to my dog and am going to get some for myself as it soothes and coats the digestive system and helps it to recover.
