Prices can start around £50 second-hand and just under £200 new for basic models. Worth checking local mobility shops or council services too, they sometimes offer help or equipment loans.

Just Google them and you will see they start (new) at under £200 and go up to thousands from that.

Not sure how economical they are... I can't think the running costs are very high.
