I'm curious like you, it sounds promising, but if it were really effective, it would agario definitely be more popular!

Advertisers please note, Gransnet would be a good place to advertise snake oil…

My brother bought one as he has various aches and pains and he says he now wakes up without them.

I held off, being slightly sceptical but did eventually buy one and the first time I laid on it I felt a tingling sensation.
It has helped, with overnight pain from hip arthritis - it’s not as painful. I slept without it for a couple of weeks and did notice the discomfort return.

Check out Rowland Earthing - all the info is on there.

A friend really rated hers and recommended the Rowland Earthing brand - made in the UK with a refund if it doesn't work. On that basis I bought one, tried it for the 30 days, it didn't work, and they honoured the refund promise. I was disappointed, but appreciated it costing nothing to find that out.

Oops, I should have read all the comments first - I've just posted similar.

Bbc radio 4's Sliced Bread did an investigation into them not long ago (it will be on the BBC sounds app), I can't remember what the experts' exact conclusion was, but they didn't give them a ringing endorsement.

They do not work and are complete and utter marketing bullshit. Sliced Bread (Radio 4) asked the experts. Listen to it here:- www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m0027d76?partner=uk.co.bbc&origin=share-mobile

I got one for DH as it’s meant to be great for sleep and reducing inflammation. He didn’t notice any difference at all but the first night I was buzzing and tingling all over. I could be wrong but I think that when it grounds you it does the same as walking barefoot on the grass which realigns the magnetics in your body and makes you feel more grounded.

A friend encouraged me to get one but it did nothing.

LaCrepescule Wed 30-Jul-25 17:00:10

My friend encouraged me to get one. Didn’t do a thing - complete waste of money 😬

BlueBelle Wed 30-Jul-25 16:53:52

Haven’t got one as I haven5 heard if then but if I had wouldn’t bother with one either I think they are all a bit over egged
My youngest had one of those weighted blankets last time I stayed over I think they re quite expensive I didn’t sleep any better or any worse

I've seen these but never believed it . Could someone tell me exactly what they are and how does this help sleep . Do they plug in ? Do they vibrate ? I'm flummoxed . Thankyou

Coops74, that's really interesting. What make is it that you have, apparently the more silver in them the better?

Mrswoodcutter Wed 30-Jul-25 15:24:43

I have one. It has not made any difference at all.
Wish my daughter in law had saved her money

Coops74 Wed 30-Jul-25 15:02:58

Hi I have had one for 6 months.Yesterday I washed mine which I do every 2 weeks.I didn’t put it back on the bed last night I had the worse night sleep for a long time.So they do work for me .I have two nieces and a friend who also have the same grounding sheet and are really happy with the results.

Mt61 Wed 30-Jul-25 13:55:37

Do they heat up?

Wendyg Wed 30-Jul-25 13:47:25

Just wondering if anyone of you lovely ladies have ever tried using a grounding bed sheet?
I keep reading about them and their supposedly wonderful benefits. Helping you to sleep better, get rid of aches and pains etc. They are expensive, so while I'm happy to spend the money if they work but not if they are just another gimmick. I tend to think, if they were that great we would have heard a lot more about them.
