Maggots are an old-fangled notion. My grandmother, nursing the wounded of WWI, used them.
‘Old fashioned’ doesn’t make them ‘wrong’. They are still used medically because they are proven to be effective.

Unfortunately, Maizie, you seem to have misunderstood my meaning. Please read the post again. The point I was making is that the application of maggots is not a "newfangled notion", but has a long and useful history.
