Lens replacement

BlueBelle I need reading glasses too now after my cataract ops. They're no bother though. I got a pack of four for £7.99 from Amazon and have one placed in all the places I need them.

I wore contacts for 40 years with no concerns found them as easy if not easier as putting my watch on, lost my contacts when I had new lenses after cateract ops, but now need reading glasses which I find a lot worse than contacts as I m
forever losing them

I had the procedure carried out privately five years ago. It was a tremendous success as far as my long sight was concerned, but I now need +1 reading glasses for reading and close up work, which previously was absolutely fine (I was advised that it was likely due to aging that I needed them… I’m 60). I still see halos around LED lights and am rather light-sensitive but it’s not been a problem. I’m delighted not to be wearing contacts now.

I had it done when I found wearing contact lens too uncomfortable due to dry eye condition. I have never regretted it and it is amazing to be able to see clearly for the first time in my life.
