Some advice please ladies.

I ve had 2 rituximab infusions 2 weeks apart , the last one was 11 weeks ago. The pain has dissipated a lot so a great success BUT for the past 5 weeks I have had a cough, cold, exhaustion and awful brain fog which I think is probably causing my very very low mood.

Please can anyone tell me if they have experienced similar side effects. I called the surgery before Christmas and have an appointment on 14/1/26.

Thanks in advance.

No personal experience, but my friend who has RA, did very well after the infusions. I’m not sure whether she continues to have it. Her RA has been well managed over the past 40 years. She is now 78.

Rituximab was part of my cancer treatment. I don't know if I received a higher dose than your infusions OP. A side effect was a suppression of my immune system and I developed shingles very soon after the treatment and the accompanying anti virals stopped and I know other cancer patients were prone to all sorts of infections.

I dont have any experience of Rituximab for RA. Good that you are seeing your GP. I hope you feel better soon.
