Please please see your GP asap, it could be nothing, just stress related etc., but it could have been a TIA in which case you will need meds to prevent a possible stroke in the future. My husband had no warnings before he had a stroke just over a year ago, I am now his full time carer.
Prevention is always best. Could be nothing or could be a call to the GP that prevents you suffering what my husband has gone through.

Yes see you GP but it could be a migraine. You don't always get a headache. They can affect your vision, speech and cordination. Our DD at 13 had symptoms of a stroke and it was migraine. Terrifying.

There are various possibilities for this, but you absolutely must see your GP, to find out the cause.

Stress/migraine/TIA .. all possible, but each of different seriousness and treatments. Only a doctor can make these distinctions for you!
I hope you an get this sorted.

Yes. Mine was put down to stress, but please get it checked out asap, you might have had a TIA

Mazgg. Please see your GP. How are you feeling this evening?

You must see your GP asap. It does sound like a migraine - I’ve had those sorts of symptoms over the year - but obviously it could be something else.

Margiknot Tue 13-Jan-26 20:41:17

But definitely see your GP.

Years ago, driving to my daughter’s house, I had to pull up to the side of the road, because I just didn’t know where I was.
Around the same time , a few couple of weeks later, I was driving home and could not figure where I was.
These incidents coincided with difficulties in my marriage. I am now divorced .
Mazgg - are you having any stresses of any kind? In any case, please see your GP.

Elegran Tue 13-Jan-26 20:36:15

You should check this out with a doctor. It could have been migraine, it could have been a TIA, but it could also have been a mild stroke. If you report it you will probably be sent for tests, which will rule out the worst possibilities, and if needed you will get medication to make it less likely to happen again. Ignoring it is not a good idea.

Margiknot Tue 13-Jan-26 20:35:28

Perhaps ring 111 for advice?

Pably Tue 13-Jan-26 20:33:17

Mazgg, you need to see your GP about that , it must have been very frightening for you

Mazgg Tue 13-Jan-26 20:23:04

This afternoon I experienced a weird and frightening experience . My sight went blurred as though I had been looking at a bright light. This passed fairly quickly. About 15 minutes later I was talking to a friend on the phone when suddenly I knew what I wanted to say but couldn't get the right words or remember who people were.
It passed but I was left feeling disorientated.
Has anyone experienced anything similar?
