Falling Star. As I read your comment, I am awake with restless legs. I came to bed at 10.30pm. It’s now 2pm And I haven’t slept yet, I went downstairs , had two Weetabix with warm milk and two Paracetamol, it usually sends me to sleep and my legs calm down,, I hope you find some way of coping with this annoying condition. There doesn’t seem to be a cure for it,
I haven’t been to the cinema for years as restless legs soon kicks off and I can’t sit still, so we never get to see the end of a film as I have to leave,

I get this sometimes when sitting down at night and particularly in the cinema or on a car/bus journey etc. Is torture. I also get it at night in bed and then I find that distraction works. I walk about a bit, go to get a drink of water, go and look out of the window to se if the foxes are out. Try to engage my mind with something else. Sometimes it works and I go back to bed and sleep other times it doesn’t but thankfully it doesn’t occur too regularly.
Hope you find some relief.

A side effect of my chronic kidney disease is restless legs. It's debilitating, and when it starts off, it prevents me from sleeping. At present I am taking 2 magnesium tablets and using magnesium cream. Something it helps, but not always.

Does anyone else suffer from this, and what is your remedy, if you have found one?
