My GP referred me to a urologist. He never mention that, but:

Microbegron tablets daily
removing caffeine
drinking more water (this to dilute)
Estriol cream

and this last one is still a work in progress - losing weight smile

He said that if I still has stress incontinence after 6 months,

he will refer me to gyneacology for injection

Yes, I have one. It is very good but I'm not very good at getting into the routine to use it!

Would you mind explaining what a ring pessary is and where it goes? I cannot find any information on it.

Vaginal estrogen pessaries help a lot with overactive bladders, post menopause.
In my case, and that of many post menopausal women, the bladder overactivity occurs due to lack of estrogen. The pessaries deliver estrogen to that area.
Very effective in my case, as I was getting up several times nightly to pee and now, sometimes, once, or not at all.

Do you mean the electric pulse type of machine? I used it for a few months and it was working, but it has to deliver quite a strong pulse of electricity to be really effective and I hated that feeling, it frightened me. In the end, I gave up on it, though it was whoppingly expensive. In the end, out of sheer misery, I went to see our local nurse who inserted a ring pessary. The first kept falling out, but I went back and we have found the perfect fit. Just needs changing every six months or so and you forget it’s there. Might be worth a try before purchasing anything.

I've used one for years. It's a slight faff getting used to them and not all like them but I think they are very effective. I do also do yoga with a teacher who encourages us to use our pelvic floor as we perform yoga postures.

Has anyone tried this? I have an overactive bladder and wondered if this might help. Also for pelvic floor. They are quite expensive
