Osteoporosis?

Thanks.
The only snag is the other day I had an appointment with a GP over another matter.
I am given an injection every six months for osteoporosis but was warned many years ago I could eventually have a fall

I fell down 3 small stairs and under normal circumstances after getting my breath back I would have been up. I ended up with a fracture dislocation of my ankle and my ankle was Ike a jig saw puzzle on xray.

That was in 2009, taken the appropriate drugs since and been fine, but I do walk extra carefully.

Mine was discovered after a wrist fracture. I took Risedronate for 18 months. Now I try to help myself by taking vitamins and lifting weights. I really don’t want to take drugs as the side effects sound awful.

Due to a drug I have been taking since a child many years ago I was informed I have osteoporosis although the condition hasn’t started to affect me badly yet
However, for those who have the condition did you first occasionally find one leg become weak in the hip with a light ache and a slight loss of balance?
Fortunately, it is only happening to one leg so I can get my balance
