Hearing aids called smart hearing

I have had NHS Hearing Aids for over 20 years, absolutely wonderful! No real problems and Audiology sort it speedily when there is.

And other good thing about NHS digital is that you go back and they can adjust them for free, even on the most basic ones.

While they have built-in algorithms to suppress some background noise, they may not isolate voices as effectively in highly crowded or noisy environments (like a busy restaurant) as top-tier, audiologist-fitted devices from brands like Phonak, Oticon, or ReSound.

Some of the "alternative" hearing aids are simply amplifiers they do nothing to process the sound to improve clarity.
The latest NHS aids are pretty good they do take a while to get used to you have to persist.

Reviews, always worth checking, on TrustPilot are dire.

I bought a pair and I can't get them to charge up without Alexa's help. I have tried to get help from the company, but they are staying strangely silent. They are a small company and one would think they would want to keep their customers. I would stay well clear of them as communication is not a skill they have acquired.
