Is it worth recovering sofas?

Hi! I'm new to this so here goes.
We desparately need new loose covers on our two sofas , which are about 10 years old , but one of them has a 'saggy' seat (because its in a fav position), and the feather cushions on the back are droopy. They were Collins and Hayes . I was going to get a quote for new covers ,but apart from the environmental issue I wonder if it will be worth it financially. Any views or similar expeiences please?

So have I. All these spam posts seem to refer to the same site. They don't bother checking how long the posts stay undeleted, they just send them out regularly from different addresses.

There is no way I would buy even a cushion from this gang. Talk about shooting themselves in the foot!

Yet another one to report hmm.

No-one is reading this thread any more, wungcyntia. The only posts are from spammers like yourself.

This is a "very useful information" thread that needs to stay viewable for others. Its only unauthorised advertising that has been an issue. It's not a nasty controversial thread. From what I have seen.

OK, jane thlsmile

Kitty Frozen, ok. Deleted, absolutely not.
I'm in the throes of making the sofa decision and the information on the thread has been quite helpful.
As long as the spammers are reported and deleted, what's the problem with retaining the rest of the thread?

kittylester Mon 21-Oct-13 09:58:35

I would have thought that this thread could be deleted or frozen. Someone could always start another one if they really wanted to know about recovering sofas. Apart from the spam, the thread seems to have run it's course anyway.

Nelliemoser Mon 21-Oct-13 09:55:03

I cannot see why this thread attracts this attention. Perhaps "recovering sofas" is a new euphemism for sex. wink

Elegran Mon 21-Oct-13 09:34:56

I would look to see whether it is the same link, but previous incarnations have gone.

annodomini Mon 21-Oct-13 09:19:30

I sounds very much the same, Elegran. Not quite English English.

Elegran Mon 21-Oct-13 09:13:19

Do you think this is the same sofa-peddling gang popping up under a different name each time their post is deleted?
