I need a freeview TV with a simple, uncomplicated remote control. Too many buttons are confusing! Can anyone recommend anything in particular?

Many new TVs now come with Freeview already built in and with all the many functions TVs can provide, it's not often you'll come across as simple remote without every shape, size and colour button known to man!

Don't be afraid to go into some electrical stores and ask for 'big button' remotes suited to your TV and/or Freeview provider. Although these might seem like embarrassing last resorts for most, the idea behind having larger buttons and icons, means less can fit on one remote (hopfeully).
I would assume over half the buttons on an average remote are probably not even used!

I don't know any specifically, but a friend of mine asked at the electrical store Maplin and found one suitable for her, but online stores like Amazon should have loads to choose from too. Do a little research online, or ask around in stores as i'm sure there are more in producing with a rising over 50s audience watching TV these days.
