pammygran I bought a vintage tartan (Royal Stuart) 100% wool rug from a local charity shop for £1.50. It is in excellent condition. DH was most impressed when he discovered it had been made for the British Motor Company so probably worth much more than I paid for it and collectable for it's connection. I love it! Google tartan blankets/picnic rugs you should be able to find exactly what you are looking for.

pammygran You may like to check out the Edinburgh Woollen Mill website, click on Textiles. They have tartan picnic rugs and blankets in their sale in various colourways with free delivery until 3rd July. Don't know if you have an outlet near you. Hope you find what you are looking for. All the best.
