I collect teatowels, dishcloths and bath/hand towels and then do a 60C wash every 2 weeks approx, with pillow cases too. It's good for the washing machine to go through a hot cycle every so often anyhow.
I like old fashioned teatowels, made of very good quality high thread count cotton- still got my mums' from her bottom draw, and some of my grans too. And still got a whole roll that can be cut into new tea towels when those go ;) I know who's who has they have the initial embroidered in the corner, lol. My girls love them too- they dry so much better than modern ones, especially for special glasses. Hihihi.
