Many thanks to Pogs, Glammananafair hair and Phoenix for your advice and suggestions. All very good input and I can see the best way would be to contact Amtico themselves.

Cheers

I have Amtico in my kitchen and I know what you mean by looking dull. It is very hard wearing and has been down for over 20 years so I won't complain. It has faded as well. I would still use Amtico again having said that.

All I can say is, years ago I used a floor shine product on my fathers floor and oh boy was I unhappy. Be careful what you use in other words. If you go for a liquid floor shine the floor must be spotlessly clean and it went streaky. I regretted doing it and eventually it wore off and we left well alone after that.

Good Luck.

Have you had a look at the specialist cleaners available on Amazon they have a whole range for Amtico Flooring

I would recommend checking you warranty and contacting the manufacturer for answers.

Although I love my steam mop, I'm not sure it would do much to restore a dull looking floor. A floor polisher might but it could possibly depend on the polish that was used with it.

You could always try applying a couple of coats of Klear to your floor? best done by hand, but it isn't a strenuous task!

My Amtico floor has started to look dull and I can't get it back to the way it was when new. I have been thinking of using a steam mop and also a domestic floor buffer/polisher. I would really appreciate any comments or suggestions.
BTW I like the discussion on this list about Berber rugs or carpets.

Thank you
