I need a new ironing board

I got a smaller, collapsing ironing board from Lakeland. It tucks away in a corner and is light to use - not that I've used it very much. I hate ironing!

Sorry, can't recommend a lightweight one. I went for a wider Minky, it cuts down on ironing time. I love it for my starched sheets, which are pretty much all I iron.

Hate ironing myself, but cant bear to see my tea towels un-ironed. Or my Egyptian cotton sheets.
.But now with lymphoedema in my arm, carting the 'beast' into situ is only putting me off getting it out. Well, thats my current excuse for the 'pile'.

Whenim, do you find the collapsable one viable? ie Do you find a suitable surface height on which to put it?

I have two. The usual fold-away on legs one and a table top one I use for quilting and smaller items like your tea towels.

My neighbour has the Lakeland collapsable one and she finds it very good for what she needs,*mr glamma* has a beldray extra wide one which was bought for him a few years ago he has never made any adverse comments about it I don't iron myself I refused to sign up for that job.
