I put them on the compost heap. Their success in discouraging slugs may explain why dahlias thrived on our compost heap last summer. Never had much success with dahlias before because slugs have always eaten them. A small amount does go down the sink but most is strained through an old sieve, added to the compost bucket and eventually tipped onto the current compost heap.
Aah! I could definitely stamp and shout at the moment!
