Where I Live It seems like the sound proofing material is minimal so when people move around the noise it makes can be heard easily.
one sound that really irritates me is the sound of a chair being pushed or dragged across un carpeted floors ; 0 (
and sadly the block I live in
my neighbor drags her chairs around and it really gets on my nerves.
I once made an official complaint about it which got a good response from my neighbor of course!
I made the complaint due to being at my wits end and the fact that talking to my neighbor made no difference.
I try hard to put up with it but when it happens at night when I'm trying to sleep or at 5am in the morning I'm not best pleased as you can Imagine.
Do you have a similar problem where you Live?
If So How Do you cope/deal with it?

Earplugs. I always carry a couple of sets when I am travelling and when I'm not sure how quiet the places that I stay in will be. Works like a charm.

Suggest she buys those felt pads to put on the bottom of chair legs. Or buy her some. (very cheap, got ours in Lidls.)

Just a thought: they might not be able to lift the chair. Or, they are just plain bloody lazy.
