Neff Ovens & Hobs

I have a Neff 7 years old now and no problems, it stays fairly clean and there is a cleaning mode on it. You just put a small amount of water and some washing up liquid on the base and run the clean mode.

I would like the door that folds under next time.

I have the neff slideaway door oven and love it - it makes lifting heavy pots in and out so much easier. Highly recommend

I want to replace my lovely Neff double oven that got broken by a visiting teenager.
Has anyone checked which one comes out top on Which at all? I can't decide which to go for now.

I have two Neff ovens with slide away doors, they are very efficient ovens and the self cleaning is good. I also have a Neff ceramic hob with touch controls so it is super easy to clean. I did a lot of research when I had my kitchen remodelled and I settled for Neff even for dishwasher and washing machine.

Thank you all so much for you replies. I knew not all pans work on the induction but didn't realise only certain size pans work on each ring....very odd! Will need to give that some thought before I buy any pans..although there is a free set at the moment with the Neff induction hobs. I will look at the John Lewis hobs too I think.

I had a Neff Circultherm self cleaning oven a few years ago, great at self clean, but the naffest Neff I ever had. It was awful at cakes and any sort of baking. I probably should have had it tested. Moved on to Rangemaster. X

I have a Neff double oven, only a month old so no cleaning yet as we are veggies so don't have meat spitting. It is fairly bog standard, not the one with the slide under door which I am not sure comes as a double oven? Anyway, I love it. The oven heats up twice as fast as my old one and it is very quie and the fan doesn't run for hours afterwards. We got it from John Lewis and they reduced it in line with Currys price, plus you get. Two year guarantee. We also have the John Lewis induction hob, which must be the best way of cooking ever designed! So responsive and clean - wonderful!

I had a new Neff oven last year - a basic one but with some self clean linings. It only came with one oven shelf though and a deep pan that slides in like a tray. The way you use the shelf heights is different too. I don't use it that much as I use a slow cooker often and try not to bake much as I then eat too much cake! The timer pinger is very quiet. However, I am pleased with it generally.

I have Neff self cleaning oven which is great.

If you have the Neff induction hob, which I agree is easy to clean, bear in mind when you buy the saucepans to use on the hob they will only work on the correct sized rings. E.G. Large pan/ large ring, medium pan/ medium ring, small pan/small ring.

I have 2 small pans but can only use one at a time. No one told me this when we bought the hob.

I have a Neff double oven,would recommend it.Previously had the slide under door(in another house),it certainly makes life easier when removing trays or dishes.The self clean facility seems to work well.
I have an induction hob which heats up very quickly.The problem with induction is that not all saucepans,pans etc 'work' on it.I had to replace several of mine,something I did not realise beforehand.Really easy to keep clean though.

Well I think then I will go for a fairly basic Neff as I really am just a basic cook but I will get the slide and hide door as it will at least make it easier to clean than trying to reach across the drop down door won't it?

I know what you mean about the gas hob being very controllable but I just love the clean lines of the electric and the new convection hops are very responsive.

I, too, have a Neff electric fan oven and it is the best one I've ever used..
It has a self clean facility that works fairly well, but I had it professionally cleaned this Summer after 7 years hard use.
I have a Neff gas hob that is also very good. I like the instant control that you get with gas. I can't get along with DD's new high-tec electric hob.

I have a Neff and I do like it .if I needed a new one I would get the door that slides underneath. Such a good idea. Mine is self cleaning but not really as I'm a messy cook.

I had a new, electric oven fitted last year. It was middle price range, and is fantastic. Friends, and the kitchen person told me that electric ovens are now better than my old favourite, gas. They were right, cakes cook better than ever.
I did stay with gas for the hob though, I prefer that for cooking
