When I bought my Sofa Workshop sofa, I had some things to secure the armcaps to the sofa arms. They were a bit like a screw top bottle opener. The arm caps are shaped so don't hang properly without them . I have, of course, lost them. Can anyone suggest replacemens please?

LJ sell such things, made of steel . If you can imagine a staple with 2 long arms, circa 1inch, and a kink at the top of both legs to hold the armcaps in place.

They are made in Germany I think.

I cant visualise a screw top bottle opener

I cannot answer your question above but I have seen the hairpin type things in a number of curtain haberdashery dept - maybe it should have been JL for John Lewis! I have the armcaps from Sofa sofa but with the shape of the arms they fit snug and not a problem with the 'hanging'

We use the long staple things but find they have to go in at an angle.

Apologies should have been JL. I too put the staple things in at an angle.

They do work.

Have you done a google?
