Duvets

Hi darlings

I have King Size Feather & Down duvet.
Due to a couple of honkingly nasty disabilities in recent years, which now affect my right arm and hand, I'm struggling with the thing.

So, I decided to go down a size to a double (there's only me).

Now, does anyone have any experience of WOOL duvets? Seems there's another option out there since I last shopped for bedding.

Or any other ideas would be most welcome.

I saw wool duvets in a shop in Newton Abbot a couple of years ago, made by a family firm in Devon (featured, I think, on a programme presented by Monty Don). We had just bought a goose down king size one but I wished I had known about the wool ones before I bought it. Expensive, though.

DD had bought a wool one which she put on our bed when we stayed with her in Australia. However, they are a lot cheaper out there (more sheep?) and very nice it was too.

I think there was another thread about duvets recently. My sister loves her alpaca one she bought from an alpaca farm in Lincolnshire, all made in UK and cruelty free. I think they are quite pricey but considering the amount of time we spend in bed, probably worth it.

I remember someone on Dragon's Den trying to get an investment to market wool duvets. I was pretty impressed by the presentation and, provided what they said was true, it seems that wool duvets are much more adjustable to body temperature. Although the Dragons seemed interested, they didn't invest.
