They collect in the bottom but they're so sizzled they don't look like flies anymore lol.

The two flies which came in yesterday vampirequeen didn't last long either as Purdy Puss got both of them and then ate them.
Does your zapper collect the dead flies somehow or do they just fall to the floor ? As more flies come in I may get a tad worried about over indulgence by Purdy Puss !

Some are brought out by the warm weather. We have one of those camping blue light zappers which we plug in when they come in. They don't last long once that's on. They just can't resist it.

There was one by the bakery in Asda this morning. Nature is sure confused by this weather.

We found they appeared when we were away from our Scottish house. First job was to hoover them up! Eventually we found that they came down the wood burner flue??
We now put a fly killer sticker in the wood burner when we are away. I have no idea why they appear all the year round. I did think they might nest somewhere and be drawn into the warmth of the house. x

It is a beautiful sunny day here in North Yorkshire but I have one of those big horrible flies in the house and it is ONLY 2nd JANUARY !!!

As I typed the above Purdy Puss has just caught it and killed it. She is obviously going to earn her keep !
