I've tried all of them (forced to when immobile for 3 months) and they were definitely the best by far.

There was a TV report about on-line grocery shopping, Tesco came out extremely well. Few items substituted and shelf life equal or better than shop, and much better than other companies. We have always be very satisfied with Tesco on-line.

I use Tesco for online shopping, they're better than the alternatives IMO but I tend to shop at Sainsbury's or occasionally Waitrose if feeling flush.

I forgot ASDA, but the one in our village is awful, so hardly ever go there.

Nearest to us is Tesco which I use but also Aldi, Lidl, Asda, Makro, Costco and Sainsburys on occasion. Wherever my fancy takes me , I tried Waitrose but found it expensive, aisles too cramped and big queues I won't go there again. I like Morrisons especially the Deli counter but there isn't one close enough as we have Tesco and Sainsbury on the doorstep..

We have Sainsbury, Tesco, Morrisons, Asda, Co-op, Aldi and Lidl all within about 6 miles of our house, so we pick and choose - certain things in certain stores. Sainsbury and Lidl are probably our favourites, with Co-op being used for convenience (it's just up the road). I have to say we have been buying more and more at Lidl's recently as they seem to just go from strength to strength. They now have in-store bakeries which are very good and so reasonably priced. Also their fresh fruit and veg is extremely good (and cheap!).
Like Pompa, we like Tesco for the fresh fish counter - last week I got a whole salmon on offer for £13.82 - I got 17 salmon steaks out of it. Now that is cheap!! But Sainsbury fresh fish is also very good. And of all of them, we've always found that Sainsbury's fruit and veg seem to have the longest shelf/fridge life.

We prefer Tesco. Like their Finest range especially. Ours has an excellent fresh fish counter. Don't like Sainsbury's for any food products. Morrison's butchery is good, we phone our orders in and collect. Waitrose - overpriced and overrated, also our nearest one is poorly staffed and every time we have used it, long wait at check out. We do not have an Audi/Lidl close enough.

Sometimes it's a case of lack of choice. There isn't a Sainsbury's or Waitrose within at least 50 miles from me, the only main supermarkets are Asda and Tesco (Asda is much better, both for produce and customer service).

There is an Aldi and a Lidl in the next town, but if I had to rely on public transport I wouldn't bother shopping at those.

Tesco is our nearest supermarket unfortunately.

I hate Tesco. Prefer Sainsbury's but Aldi saves me 30% on my shopping so it's a no brainer.

Couldn't care less!grin That isn't the working profit though only represents the capital loss for that year.

Tesco has posted pre-tax losses of £6billion !!

Are you a Tesco shopper? I have wondered for some time what its USP was, others are cheaper ( Aldi, Lidl, ) , better, (Waitrose)more comprehensive ,(Sainsbury's) or better situated.
Why shop at Tesco's?
