We arrived at second home, in rural area of Scotland, at 1 pm to find the fridge/ freezer broken.
We went on line immediately and bought a new one from AO on Line.
It was delivered and the old one taken away by 8 am this morning! How's that for service?
BTW they were competitive on price, and the web site has little videos so you can see all over the product.

I got my last ff from them after my DS had bought one. They are so very helpful and so fast! They deserve to do well.

That's good to know. I'm looking for a new cooker I'll look at their site. Hope you are having a nice beak J52 see you soon. xxsmile

break!!!!

I've bought appliances from them, too. Even though they say they don't connect up things like washing machines and you should have your old one disconnected to take away, the delivery men were extremely helpful and didn't leave until everything was in place and tested.

Nice to have a recommendation like this. I hadn't heard of the company until very recently, so probably would have been a bit wary. Now I would be more inclined to give them a try!
Enjoy your break J52

Thanks for the good wishes Teetime and Ashtree. Lots of gardening to do! But I enjoy it. x

Thanks J52. I am in desperate need of a new washing machine. I'm spending a fortune in the launderette. I will look at their site. I know exactly which one I want too.

J52 I wish I'd read this review a before I bought my new washing machine a week or so ago. The same machine is cheaper at AO and instead of waiting for six days for delivery I could have had it the following day. I shall certainly remember this company when my fridge/freezer needs replacing.

We've used them quite a bit too and have been really pleased.

I have never heard of AO. blush

Thanks for the feedback J52 I will certainly remember to look at their site if and when needed.

I gave a good appraisal of VAX once when we had a problem, nice to hear and read positive feedback we tend to forget to give praise when we have good service don't we.

A few years back DD's cooker broke down a week before Christmas. AO delivered promptly within a day or two. Immediately installed and turkey cooked on time!

Thanks for the heads up. I need a cooker but then I need someone to put it in, either a gas fitter or an electrician. We've lived without a cooker for last 8 months but I am missing doing some things, like hot food, lol.

I've used them - fine!

I used them for a new fridge freezer. They will not be beaten on price, and they offer next day delivery. If I needed anything like that again, I would look at AO first.

I do usually prefer to support local independent businesses, but I'm afraid that in the end it comes dowm to price.

Thanks for this, perhaps we should have a special category for recommendations?

Very timely for me as DS is moving and needs white goods.

Nonnie I would definitely look at AO first. Another good thing about them is the videos. I found them very helpful when looking for a f/f. The presenters don't just "gush" about the product, they also include negative comments if there is something about the item that they don't like!
