My brand new Nespresso coffee machine is leaking water!

It's the Inissia model. I bought it yesterday from John Lewis, followed the instructions for first time use, then made a cup of coffee - perfect. Made a cup this morning and water leaking on the kitchen worktop. Have googled and it seems other users have had same problem.

Wondered if anyone on GN has one and whether you've had same and if so what did you do?

Even if he doesn't, you'll have him there. Who would worry about a leaking machine then!

I can only suggest that you make sure the detachable water container is clicked into place properly. Turn the machine round so the back is facing you and can see that it's sitting squarely.

If you can't exchange it, get in touch with nespresso directly, their customer service is great - they will repair or if it's irreparable send a new one

If she's only had it a day, it should be replaced, not repaired.
